Lavender dream|| Thurmont, maryland

I had the privilege of being able to go to Maryland this past June to capture this gorgeous wedding alongside Madison. It was truly a day I will never forget. The wedding itself was absolutely beautiful, and the couple was the sweetest ever.

The wedding itself was at Springfield Manor Winery in Thurmont, Maryland, and let me tell you…… the whole day was an absolute dream!!! The timing could not have been more perfect as their grape vines were green and lush, and their lavender field was in full bloom! Add in the rolling hills in the background, which is a beautiful backdrop for this sweet couples day. The grounds of the winery were quite expansive, and it really allowed for the wedding to be like a little escape from the surrounding area, being less than an hour from Fredericks, Maryland, and less than two hours from DC, Springfield Manor was the perfect oasis.

Lavender Dream

I was dreaming about this field for weeks!! When I heard that the winery had a lavender field I was so excited!!! And it did not disappoint at all! After the ceremony, we were escorted out to the field, and ended up having the whole place to ourselves!! It was honestly just amazing.

Party all night long

Jordan and Todd’s friends and family had absolutely no problem bringing the party. I don’t think there was a single moment when the dance floor was empty. So many fun and memorable moments, including a few surprises! At one point the DJ brought out two play guitars and started a guitar battle!! As the guitars got passed around everyone took a chance in the middle to show off their skills. Later in the night, the surprises kept coming!! Jordan, a former cheerleader, was hoisted in the air!! Everyone cheered and screamed as she was high above the crowd. It was certainly a night to remember and I am so glad I was able to document this special day for Jordan and Todd!
